Just wrapped up a workshop called Photographer Subject Relationships with Eric Gottesman.
We worked in teams of 2-3 people to develop a concept and photo shoot in 2 hours.
The point of the exercise was to work collaboratively - which is the hallmark of Eric's work in Ethiopia.
These portraits are of strangers we approached on the street and photographed in the school.
Narisa did the recruiting and light reading. I did the shooting and Pryanka shot the Polaroids (main page).
We invited the subjects to write on the Polaroids as an act of collaboration and as a nod to Eric's book
"Sudden Flowers."
